Accessibility Statement

INTRODUCTION

The “Union for the Protection of the Interests and Rights of the People of Artsakh” (hereinafter referred to as the Artsakh Union) is committed to making its website accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. This statement applies to the website https://artsakhunion.org/ (hereinafter referred to as the Site), including its membership, subscription, and donation forms.

1. CONFORMANCE STATUS

Our target standard is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. The Site is partially conformant with this standard, meaning that most, but not all, content currently meets it.

2. KNOWN LIMITATIONS

We are aware of the following limitations, and are working to address them:

  • Some documents published as PDF (annual reports, the Charter, and similar files) may not be fully tagged for use with screen readers.
  • Interactive map content used on some pages may have limited keyboard support.
  • The online donation form is partly processed by a third-party payment provider whose interface is outside our direct control.
  • Some content added by editors, such as news articles and program descriptions, may occasionally be missing full text alternatives.

3. FEEDBACK AND CONTACT

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of the Site. If you encounter a barrier, or believe part of the Site does not meet the standard referenced above, please let us know by:

We aim to respond within 10 business days and, where possible, to provide the information you need in an accessible alternative format.

4. ENFORCEMENT

For services offered to consumers in the European Union, including online donations, this statement is also intended to support our obligations under the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) and its national implementing legislation. If you are not satisfied with our response to your feedback, you may pursue the enforcement procedure available in your country of residence under that framework.

5. PREPARATION OF THIS STATEMENT

This statement was prepared on 17 August 2026, based on a review of the Site against WCAG 2.1 Level AA. It will be reviewed periodically and updated whenever the Site changes materially.

All matters not addressed in this statement are governed by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia.
